The factory houses
both Myla Graphics and its sister company Fast Finish Binding, a
trade finishing house.
Myla's Pre Press
and Film Bureau section, which sells film directly to the trade or public, has a selection of both Macs and PCs up to
the latest versions, outputting to two Imagesetters (producing both
film and bromide - film to 750 x 550mm), laser printers, inkjets, and H.P. plotters to 54 inch.
Use is made of the
most popular graphic design programs, including Quark, Photoshop, Pagemaker,
Freehand and Corel. We also use preflight programs and
full imposition programs to layout film complete with all trim and
registration marks, including full length colour bars.
Media can be
received on floppy, zip disks, CD or E-mail.
Data can be archived on any of the aforementioned media including
CD writing. Film is supplied to many facets of the printing trade
from circuit board makers, screen printers and traditional sheet fed
and web printing companies.
Myla's printing
section specialises in trade printing and commercial work, using the
latest 2 and 5 colour machines to ensure fast turnaround times. As a result,
we have an enviable client list and reputation, which we strive to maintain.
Envelope Overprinting is a new venture which employs the use of the world's best press, a HALM two colour to meet all envelope printing requirements to a size of 350mm x 440mm. The press also is capable of overprinting magazines, address panels, etc.
